We’re thrilled that Jonathan Beer’s exploded McLaren was one of just four images awarded with a merit in this year’s SUN awards.
A great payback for the painstaking effort put into creating the image.

Jonathan Beer has recently completed an shoot for legendary camera manufacturer Hasselblad.
Hasselblad asked Jonathan to shoot a series of images to show off the technical excellence of their latest creation, the 200MS.
The 200MS is a 200 million pixel digital back that uses the Hasselblad Multi-Shot technology to produce a file full of clarity with no colour interpolation.
The brief was to initially shoot this Rolex watch making a portion of the brushed steel band ultra crisp and defined. Hasselblad could then zoom into this detail for an email campaign and invite the viewer to see the rest of the image by clicking through.
Images supplied to Hasselblad had to be RAW with no retouching in order for the quality comparison feature to work, so extra care had to be taken with lighting and the cleaning of the watch.
More watches and some looser style images were shot too once this one had been signed off, so watch this space.
